Parking & Transit Information for Summer 2026

Visit SEPTA’s website for details on public transit services during the FIFA World Cup.

PennDOT has created a central website featuring helpful region- and event-specific resources, along with event maps dedicated to monitoring traffic conditions on primary travel routes to each event.

Road closures inside and around East Fairmount Park are in place until July 26 at 8 p.m.

Main roads surrounding the festival, including Kelly Drive and Girard Avenue, will remain open to vehicle traffic. Visit the City of Philadelphia’s full transportation and access plan for the FIFA Fan Fest.

Expect increased traffic in and around the stadium complex in South Philadelphia on match dates.

FIFA Fan Fest on Lemon Hill and World Cup: June 11 – July 19

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will begin locally in Philadelphia on June 14th. Kicking off the festivities will be Philadelphia’s FIFA Fan Festival, which will run from June 11-July 19, 2026, at East Fairmount Park’s Lemon Hill. The festival will feature match-day watch parties, food and beverage offerings, and entertainment. On match days, the festival will open one hour before the first scheduled match. On non-match days, the opening and closing times will depend on the programming schedule. Access is free, but advanced registration is required. America250 & Wawa Welcome America:  June 19 – July 4

As the nation celebrates its 250th birthday (Semiquincentennial) Philadelphia is hosting an array of events. 

Wawa Welcome America, the largest Independence Day celebration in the nation (and one of the largest free festivals in the country) is celebrating 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Running this year from June 19 to July 4, 2026, the citywide festival showcases America’s birthplace and commemorates both Juneteenth and the Fourth of July.
